Staff Profiles
Jeremy Kniffen is a Colorado native and lives in Banning Lewis Ranch with his family. Jeremy graduated from Montana State University in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Prior to and immediately following graduation, Jeremy worked for Price Waterhouse and PricewaterhouseCoopers accounting firms in California, Houston and Denver. In 2000, Jeremy earned his CPA license and has maintained it in good standing ever since.
In 2002, Jeremy left the accounting world to pursue his passion of being a police officer. Jeremy worked as a police officer for the Colorado Springs Police Department until he retired in 2015. While working as a full-time police officer, Jeremy started his first tax preparation business, primarily to assist his fellow officers and their families.
In 2015, after an early retirement from the police department, Jeremy and his wife, Beth, opened a franchise tax office in Falcon. Jeremy and his wife successfully operated this business until 2020 when they decided it was better for their family to return to working independently from their home.
Jeremy and Beth are a blended family and have three wonderful children. When not preparing taxes, Jeremy enjoys spending time with Beth and the children. Jeremy and Beth try to get out and take advantage Colorado’s beauty as often as possible. They also like travelling and spending time with other family and friends.
